About the author:

Poul Bertelsen completed his formal architectural studies at Aalborg Polytechnic College and was awarded professional registration by the Government of Denmark. In addition to founding MSAADA Architects and leading this firm since 1980, he has taught as a Professor in Practice at the University of Minnesota s College of Design and been a featured speaker at architectural, church, and community conventions, symposia, and events in the United States, Denmark, India, Africa and other locations throughout the world. He has served as vice chair for Operation Bootstrap Africa and was a founding member of the board for Lutheran Partners in Global Ministry. He resides in Minnetonka, Minnesota with his wife of 40 years, Susanna.
