Lynn Garthwaite is the author of numerous books for children and adults, including the Dirkle Smat Adventure series, written especially for first- and second-grade reading levels. She has also written picture books for clients including Radio Flyer and Shutterfly, as well as the historical nonfiction book Our States Have Crazy Shapes: Panhandles, Bootheels, Knobs and Points.
Her work also includes the mystery/thriller novel Starless Midnight and the updated nursery rhyme collection Childhood Rhymes for Modern Times.
